Weekly Summary · SpicyChillySoft

Your week, in one email.

A private weekly digest that pulls your calendar, tasks, weather, transport, and bin night into a single Monday-morning briefing.

Weekly Summary is a personal productivity tool that compiles information from a handful of sources — Google Calendar, Google Tasks, a weather forecast, public-transport disruptions, and a local bin-collection schedule — into one styled HTML email, delivered automatically each week. A short narrative paragraph at the top highlights the busy days, the weather worth noting, and anything that needs your attention, so you can start the week informed without checking half a dozen apps.

What's in each email

The Google data we access

When you connect a Google account, Weekly Summary requests two read-only scopes, and nothing more. It reads only the data for the upcoming week, and it uses that data solely to build your email.

ScopeWhat it readsWhy
calendar.readonly Event titles, times, locations, and calendar names for the week To list your events in the digest
tasks.readonly Task titles, due dates, and task-list names for the week To list your tasks due in the week ahead
Read-only, always. Weekly Summary can never create, edit, or delete your calendar events or tasks. Your data is fetched, used to build that week's email, and then discarded — it is not stored in a database. Full details are in our Privacy Policy, including our Limited Use commitment under the Google API Services User Data Policy.

Who it's for

Weekly Summary is a private tool used by its operator and by invited household and family members who choose to connect their own Google accounts. It is not a public sign-up product, and it never displays, publishes, or shares your data with anyone other than the intended recipient of the email. Each person authorises access to their own account and can withdraw that access at any time from their Google Account permissions page.
